About ART
ART was co-founded in 2007 by Dr. David Frisbie, DVM, PhD, DACVS, DACVSMR, and Dr. John Kisiday, PhD, with the goal to provide cutting edge stem cell techniques outside of the university setting. Both Drs. Frisbie and Kisiday are Associate Professors at the Gail Holmes Orthopaedic Research Center at Colorado State University.
The Orthopedic Research Center is a pioneer in using autologous bone marrow stem cells to treat equine athlete joint injuries, and is the research group in which the technology used by ART was first developed.
ART provides bone marrow derived stem cell expansion services to veterinarians throughout North America. In addition, we offer on-site training, cell banking services, and peer-to-peer consultation to meet all of the needs of our clients.
